Considering all of the incredible contributions that Albert Einstein has made to science, specifically Physics, it is a sort of joke that his greatest contribution was Einstein Summation Notation, something which may seem fairly trivial to the outsider observer. I'm not sure where the joke came from, but it's just the type of self-deprecating humour that I expect Einstein would've appreciated so it may have originated from him.
